Introduction
Memory is learning we retain over time.Memory is treasure of us,so that we change ourselves depend on memory.So,we try to understand the running way of memory.This experiment contain two tests .First,we test that whether words with high meaningfulness are easy to recall than low meaningfulness items.Considering this test,I hypothesized that the groups contain high meaningful words are espalier to recall than the group with contain low meaningful words.Dependence variable is the meaning of items,and the rate of recall is dependence variable.Second,we test to the serial position effect which means a tendency of recall first item and least item is a serial items .In this part,I hypothesize that the first word and least word in every group have higher rate of recall.
Method
Participate
There are 10 students on psychology class were separated into 5 groups.Every groups has a subject and a experiments.All subjects and 4 experimenters are female,and an experimenter is male .Then all ages are in range of 18-24.
Materials
Every group has two groups cards,a groups cards are writed down high meaningful words,the other one are low meaningful words.Both two groups have ten cards.A sheet for record the results.
Produce
Step1,experiments showed low meaningful cards to subjects one by one,each words showed 2sec.Don record anything in the sheet.
Step2,the experiment didn’t showed card at first.Let subjects recall the words in order.If the subject could not recall a words,experiment can show a cards to them.Ask the subject recalled next one until finished a group.Then,repeat this trail 9times.Record results of 10trails.
After that,Subjects relax 3-5 minutes.Chang the groups to the low meaningful one.Reeat the trials as step1 and step2

Every group has two group cards, a group cards is writed with high meaningful words, the other one is low meaningful words. Both two groups have ten cards. A sheet for recording the results.
Procedure
